A German language version of the online parental control and Internet security software has been released by Netintelligence, a provider of web based managed Internet security services.

Netingelligence said its Internet security service provides complete protection for desktop and laptop computers whenever, wherever or however they connect to the web. It incorporates anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, web blocking/filtering, instant messenger and time usage controls. In addition it incorporates online reporting and enables policies to be applied and enforced across geographical and physical boundaries and time zones.

Netintelligence Parental Control includes all the above features and enables parents with little technical knowledge to monitor and control their children's use of the family computer. It said there are around 47m Internet users in Germany and its research has revealed that parents there are aware the Internet can be unsafe for children.

Netintelligence Parental Control & Internet Security costs EUR69 for an annual subscription for use on up to three separate computers/laptops and is managed via an online Control Centre.
