Qld: MP thrown out of parliament
A Queensland Opposition MP has been suspended from parliament for 24 hours after interjectingduring Question Time.
Speaker RAY HOLLIS ordered Opposition local government spokesman HOWARD HOBBS fromthe chamber after the MP repeatedly interjected during two speeches by Racing MinisterMERRI ROSE.
Ms ROSE taunted Mr HOBBS, who has been a harsh critic of racing industry reforms underthe minister, after he was warned for interjecting.
Mr HOBBS was also suspended in July last year after interjecting during a speech byPremier PETER BEATTIE.
